Rei’s Minimap 1.6.4 es un mod muy útil ya que agrega al Minecraft un mapa con el cuál podrás guiarte para no perderte, este mod también ofrece la posibilidad de marcar puntos (coordenadas) con distintos colores y un nombre para identificarlo, gracias a esta características podrás marcar aquellos lugares que no quieres perder y volver a ellos fácilmente.
Entre las opciones de configuración se encuentra la personalización gráfica tanto del minimapa como del mapa grande y otras configuraciones que solo están disponibles para el modo Un Jugador, como ser, ver las entidades en el mapa, modo cueva (el mapa te guía dentro de las cuevas) entre otros.
Otra carácteristica muy usada es la del «Death Point» que sirve para que si mueres se guarden las coordenadas donde moriste así luego puedes regresar a buscar tus cosas o simplemente a seguir en lo que estabas antes de morir.
