Just Enough Items es un mod que nos permite consultar todas las recetas de cualquiera de los diversos bloques y objetos que aparecen en el juego. Además de los de vanilla, también podremos conocer las recetas de los objetos añadidos por la gran mayoría de mods de Minecraft. Para ver como se craftea cualquier objeto tan sólo debemos colocar el ratón sobre el objeto y pulsar la tecla "R". Mientras que para conocer el funcionamiento de ese mismo objeto, si es que tiene una función, pulsaremos la tecla "U".
Además, este mod nos permite utilizar un buscador interno de objetos (zona inferior derecha de la pantalla), que nos permite encontrar cualquier objeto del juego o añadido por un mod, en una columna que se añade en la zona derecha de la pantalla. Al lado del buscador veremos una llave de color rojo que nos permite acceder al menú de configuración del mod, donde podremos configurar y personalizar sus funciones.
