Enhanced Visuals es un mod que pretende mejorar la inmersión de los jugadores mediante el uso de efectos visuales variados, que aparecerán en pantalla dependiendo de la situación en que se encuentre nuestro personaje, como por ejemplo en situaciones de lucha, explosiones y condiciones climáticas concretas.
Los efectos visuales relacionados con la climatología son las partículas de arena que aparecerán en pantalla al encontrarnos en un desierto, la partículas de nieve en biomas nevados o montañas donde nieve, gotas de agua en pantalla en días de lluvia, etc.
En cuanto a efecto de batalla, aparecerán motas de polvo y humo tras las explosiones, así como partículas de sangre cuando nuestro personaje sufra algún daño, además de unos curiosos efectos al encontrarnos cerca de un Enderman. También, durante las batallas contra enemigos, al derrotar a dos enemigos seguidos, aparecerá un efecto tipo cinemática.
