Minewatch nos adentrará dentro del universo Overwatch, pero en Minecraft. El mod nos permitirá desarrollar contenido basado en el popular juego de Blizzard, principalmente armas y armaduras, que nos servirán para convertirnos en algunos de los personajes de Overwatch.
En la actualidad, el mod nos permitirá convertirnos en un total de ocho personajes, cinco más que en su anterior versión. Los personajes disponibles son: Soldado 76, Genji, Ana, McCree, Reinhardt, Tracer, Hanzo y Reaper.
Podremos convertirnos en estos personajes utilizando sus trajes o armaduras, así como sus armas, aunque para ello tendremos que conseguir unos objetos llamados Tokens. Éstos Tokens se consiguen eliminando enemigos, y nos permitirán desarrollar tanto las armas como las piezas de armadura de cada uno de los personajes. Es decir, existe un Token para cada personaje, que nos permite crear su arma y su armadura.
