Advanced Chimneys es un mod que nos permitirá crear un nuevo tipo de bloque que representa una chimenea. Es decir, se trata de un cubo vacío por dentro, por donde sale el humo generado por un fuego, siempre y cuando ese bloque de chimenea esté conectado a algo que genere humo, como por ejemplo un horno. Para conectar una chimenea con un horno basta con colocar el bloque de chimenea encima o detrás de un horno.
Este bloque de chimenea podrá ser creado con varios materiales, ya existentes en el juego de forma predefinida. Dependiendo del material que utilizamos para construir la chimenea, el humo o partículas de humo que salen de la misma serán de un color u otro, tal y como podemos ver en la imagen superior.
