Advanced Hook Launchers es un mod que nos permite crear diversas variantes de gancho, que podremos utilizar para cosas tan diversas como lanzárselo a animales, mobs u otros jugadores para causarles daño, escalar, hacer rápel, saltar desde cualquier acantilado sin miedo a morir, e incluso para matar al Ender Dragon.
Por el momento podremos crear tres clases de ganchos. El primero nos permitirá atraer a animales, enemigos e incluso a otros jugadores. El segundo nos permite escalar y atacar a las entidades desde la distancia, lanzando el gancho. Por último, tenemos un gancho que nos permitirá hacer rápel y atrapar entidades sin causarles daño.
