Ambient Sounds es un mod que añade una buena cantidad de nuevos sonidos ambientales a Minecraft, dependiendo del lugar donde estemos, ya sea una cueva, bajo el agua o en zonas de gran altura. Además de estos sonidos, cada vez que entremos a una nuevo bioma, a lo largo de todo el bioma sonarán nuevos sonidos, por ejemplo, pájaros en los biomas de bosque.
Este es el total de biomas que tendrán nuevos sonidos ambientales después de instalar este mod: bosques, llanuras, selvas, en océanos, Taiga, sabana, en biomas cálidos, biomas helados, desiertos, Mesa, Swampland y Extreme Hills. Además también tendremos nuevos sonidos ambientales para el Nether y el End (todavía en fase de pruebas).
