Antique Atlas es un mod que nos permitirá craftear un libro que funcionará como un mapa del mundo. Este libro, y el mapa que ofrece, tendrá un aspecto muy similar al mapa de la saga Zelda. Aunque este mapa no sólo nos mostrará la orografía del mundo, si no que nos ofrecerá opciones para marcar puntos de interés, y asignarles un nombre, o hacer zoom con la rueda del ratón, entre otras funciones.
Por otro lado, este mapa nos permitirá olvidarnos de tener que crear un mapa cada dos por tres, como ocurre con los mapas predefinidos en el juego, si no que el mapa que añade este mod, siempre nos mostrará la zona actual del mapa donde nos encontramos, por lo que bastará con hacer el mapa una sola vez.
Podemos navegar por el mapa utilizando el ratón, arrastrando y soltando una zona del mapa, o bien utilizando las flechas de dirección del teclado. Además, si estamos utilizando algún mod que añada nuevos biomas al juego, también aparecerán en este mapa. Este mapa también funcionará en la dimensión del Nether y en la del End.
