Aquaculture es un mod cuyo objetivo es darle una vuelta de tuerca al mundo marino de Minecraft, expandiendo todo lo relacionado con el sistema de pesca dentro del juego.

Este mod se encarga de aumentar la cantidad y variedad de peces en los mares y océanos de Minecraft, llegando a un total de 32 tipos de peces únicos, en su mayoría basados en peces reales, que podremos encontrar, o mejor dicho, pescar, dependiendo del bioma en el que nos encontremos. A modo de clasificación, encontraremos peces de agua dulce, de agua salada, peces tropicales, peces de zonas glaciares, y de zonas áridas.

Además de fauna marina, este mod añade cierta posibilidad de encontrar 12 objetos interesantes con nuestra caña de pescar (como ya ocurre en el juego) pero con objetos distintos. También se añaden encantamientos para mejorar la eficiencia a la hora de pescar y nuevas cañas de pescar.
