Back Tools se encarga de añadir al juego una de las funciones más características de los juegos de estilo FPS, a Minecraft. Hablamos de mostrar en la espalda de nuestro personaje las armas o herramientas que tenemos en el inventario, o bien que ya hemos utilizado anteriormente.

Con este mod instalado, por ejemplo, si tenemos una espada en las manos y anteriormente hemos utilizado el hacha, se mostrará el hacha en la espalda de nuestro personaje. Esto ocurrirá, tanto en nuestras partidas individuales, como en servidores públicos de Minecraft, por lo que el resto de jugadores del servidor también verán las herramientas y armas en la espalda de tu personaje.
