Better Chests es un mod que nos permitirá mejorar diversas facetas de los cofres de Minecraft, a través de varios tipos de actualizaciones. Además, el mod añade una mochila que nos permitirá transportar más objetos, y a la que también podremos añadir prácticamente las mismas actualizaciones y mejoras que podemos añadir a los cofres.
Por ejemplo, con las mejoras podremos incorporar un generador de cobblestone, ampliar la capacidad interna de cada cofre, hacer que los cofres aspiren objetos que caigan al suelo, usar un cofre con un gran horno, etc. Por tanto, las mejoras de estos cofres hacen que sean mucho más interesantes para usarlos en las granjas de animales, las granjas de enemigos, y más.
