Better Foliage es un mod que pretende ofrecernos distintas opciones de configuración para jugar con la apariencia del follaje de los árboles, plantas y yerbas de Minecraft. El autor de este mod se inspiró en un popular mod que tiempo atrás se dejó de actualizar, Better Grass and Leaves.
Estas opciones las encontraremos dentro de un menú que nos aparecerá tras pulsar la tecla "F8". En el menú podremos modificar diversos parámetros que cambiarán la forma cuadrada del follaje de los árboles, por formas más redondeadas. También podremos cambiar el grosor o tamaño del follaje de los árboles.
La iluminación dinámica y las sombras que se ven en la imagen no pertenecen a este mod. Para conseguir ese aspecto también deberías instalar Shader's Mod.
