Biome Bundle se centra en crear una nueva generación de terreno, añadiendo nuevos biomas, que bien pueden ser biomas de estilo fantástico o biomas de estilo realista, aunque la mayor cantidad de biomas serán más realistas que fantásticos. En ambos casos el mod busca ofrecer mundos más estéticos, con formaciones montañosas más proporcionadas y coherentes.
El mod no sólo busca embellecer los paisajes de nuestros mundos, si no que también busca complicarnos un poco la vida, pues también se modifica la generación de minerales para hacer más difícil encontrar recursos en el subsuelo. Con el mod instalado nos costará más encontrar minerales, aunque cuando encontremos minerales, en una veta mineral encontraremos más unidades.
Para poder generar estos nuevos tipos de mundo, tendremos que crear un mundo nuevo. Así que tendremos que ir a crear un mundo nuevo y en el apartado de "Tipos de Mundo", tendremos que seleccionar la opción "Terrain Control".
