Biome Paint Tools únicamente nos permite fabricar un objeto, con forma de lápiz, que nos permitirá, literalmente, pintar biomas en cualquier parte del mundo, aunque antes tendremos que ir físicamente al bioma original, para copiarlo y posteriormente pegarlo donde nosotros queramos.
Para copiar y pegar un bioma colocaremos el lápiz en nuestra mano. Acudiremos al bioma que queremos, por ejemplo el Nether, y con el lápiz en la mano pulsamos "Shift + clic derecho" del ratón, para copiar el bioma. Ahora vamos a nuestra casa en la superficie y pintamos en el suelo con el lápiz. De este modo, literalmente, pintaremos el suelo, cambiando el bioma del lugar. Ahora podrían generarse enemigos del Nether en este punto.
Esto nos puede resultar útil, además de para cambiar simplemente de bioma, para hacer que se generen enemigos específicos que sólo aparecen en ciertos biomas o dimensiones, en nuestra trampas de mobs del Overworld, por ejemplo.
