BuildCraft es un mod que combina elementos de tecnología aplicados a la construcción y a la automatización de procesos, añadiendo varios tipos de maquinaria que nos permite obtener, transportar y tratar recursos minerales según nuestro criterio y necesidades.
Este mod añade diversos objetos y bloques, como por ejemplo, maquinas automáticas, varias clases de motores para alimentar a las máquinas y tuberías para el transporte automatizado de recursos, entre otros objetos.
La máquina más característica de este mod, es sin duda alguna la "Quarry" una máquina perforadora que se encarga de recoger recursos minerales. Posteriormente podremos utilizar tuberías para transportar los recursos extraídos directamente hasta nuestros cofres, o allá donde nosotros queramos.
