Chance Cubes se encarga de añadir un nuevo bloque a la generación de terreno en Minecraft. Este nuevo bloque lo encontraremos principalmente en el subsuelo de Minecraft. Su nombre es Chance Cube y no se trata de un recurso mineral, aunque también nos dará algo al romperlo, que puede ser tanto positivo, como negativo para nosotros.
Cada Chance Cube tiene un valor positivo o negativo, lo que irá directamente relacionado con la fortuna o mala suerte que nos dará el romper este bloque. Un Chance Cube positivo nos dará algo positivo, como recursos u objetos varios, mientras que un Chance Cube negativo nos dará algo negativo, que puede ser un trampa de TNT. Para escanear el valor de un Chance Cube deberemos crear un objeto llamado "Chance Cube Scanner".
Además, si encontramos un Chance Cube podremos aumentar su valor positivo mediante el uso de amuletos. Al aumentar el valor positivo de un Chance Cube, mejor será la recompensa que obtengamos al romper este curioso bloque.
