ChaosCraft 2 es un mod que pretende dar un toque RPG a tus mundos de Minecraft, añadiendo una gran cantidad de nuevos objetos, bloques y utilidades. Para empezar con el mod es interesante echar un vistazo a la guía que añade el propio mod, a través de un libro llamada "Chaosnomicon".
Con este mod encontraremos un buena cantidad de nuevos recursos minerales, que podremos utilizar para crear nuevos objetos cómo por ejemplo varitas mágicas, que podrán ser evolucionadas, aunque también podremos crear nuevas armas, herramientas, armaduras, además de evolucionar las habilidades de nuestro personaje. Existen una nueva dimensión a la que podremos acceder después de consumir "esencia del alma".
