Chickens es un mod que pretende dar un poco más de versatilidad a los pollos de Minecraft. Como sabrás, de forma predefinida, los pollos sólo sirven para conseguir plumas, conseguir carne de pollo y lanzar sus huevos para conseguir más pollos.
Con este mod instalado, los pollos tienen la inteligencia artificial modificada para ofrecernos algo más, como por ejemplo un nuevo sistema progresivo de cría y puesta de huevos, etc. Existen una gran cantidad de razas de pollos, y podremos cruzarlos para conseguir nuevas razas, que además de darnos plumas, puedan darnos hierro, oro, diamantes y otras muchas cosas, más interesantes que las plumas.
Estos nuevos pollos podremos conseguirlos de tres formas. Los primeras razas de pollo se consiguen crafteando ciertos objetos, obteniendo así los huevos de nuevas razas de pollo. Otros los conseguiremos deambulando por el mundo. Y por último, podremos cruzar razas de pollos para conseguir nuevas razas exclusivas.
