Chisels & Bits es un mod que nos permite crear varias clases de cinceles con los que podremos modificar las dimensiones de los bloques de Minecraft. Estos cinceles nos permiten eliminar «filas y columnas» de un bloque para conseguir aspectos, formas y tamaños nuevos.
Una vez tenemos una forma concreta que nos interese, podremos guardar la nueva forma o bloque en un plano. Estos planos nos permitirán reproducir el objeto que esté plasmado en ellos en la mesa de crafteo, para dar lugar a un nuevo «bloque» con la forma, tamaño y apariencia que nosotros le hemos dado previamente.
