Cosmetic Armor es un mod que nos permite utilizar dos armaduras en un sólo personaje, aunque no estamos hablando de conseguir el doble de defensa, si no de tener por ejemplo una armadura de diamante, pero encima de ella una armadura de piel. Así los enemigos creerán que somos débiles, cuando en realidad tenemos una armadura de diamante equipada. Otra opció que nos permite este mod es no utilizar ninguna armadura estética, lo cual simulará que no tenemos armadura, aunque en realidad si que le tenemos equipada.
El funcionamiento es sencillo. Nos equiparemos una armadura tal y como lo hemos hecho siempre, en sus casillas habituales. Para ponernos una armadura estética deberemos entrar al inventario del personaje, y bajo la imagen de nuestro personaje aparecerá un icono pequeño con forma de pechera. Si pulsamos sobre ese icono aparecerán cuatro casillas extra que nos permitirán equiparnos una armadura estética.
