Essence of the Gods es un mod que agrega una buena cantidad de nuevo contenido al juego que nos permitirá vivir nuevas experiencias tanto en el mundo normal, como en el Nether o en las nuevas dimensiones que agrega el mod. Además de añadir nuevos contenidos, este mod modifica ciertos parámetros visuales del juego, como por ejemplo la posición y diseño de la barra de salud y comida, además de añadir nueva información en pantalla.
