Everlasting Abilities es un mod que nos permitirá adquirir y hacer evolucionar una serie de nuevas habilidades para nuestro personaje de Minecraft. Estas habilidades que vayamos adquiriendo podremos mejorarlas utilizando la experiencia que acumula nuestro personaje. Vamos a ver como funciona.
En primer lugar, ahora, tanto los animales cómo los monstruos de Minecraft podrán aparecer con una especie de nube de partículas sobre su cabeza. Al matar a cualquiera de esos mobs obtendremos un "Ability Totem". Este objeto nos dará una nueva habilidad. Al hacer clic derecho sobre el tótem accederemos a un menú que nos permitirá adquirir la habilidad por un coste de experiencia.
Para gestionar las habilidades deberemos crear un objeto llamado "Ability Bottle" que nos permitirá gestionar y hacer evolucionar las habilidades. Existen un total de 30 habilidades por el momento, y algunas nos permiten volar en supervivencia, aumento de fuerza, aumento de velocidad de crecimiento de cultivos, resistencia al fuego, regeneración y reducir el hambre, entre otras habilidades.
