Extra Golems es un mod que nos permitirá crear un montón de tipos de Golems, que se diferencian principalmente por el material a través del cual están construidos. Estos nuevos Golems tiene parámetros de vida y fuerza variables, es decir, dependiendo del material usado para crear el Golem, tendremos un Golem más o menos poderoso.
Los materiales de creación son diversos (22 por el momento). De menor a mayor poder: paja, lana, madera, librerías, sandstone, lapislázuli, hierro, infraladrillos, hielo compacto, oro, piedra del fin, glowstone, cristal, obsidiana, esmeralda y diamante. Además existen variantes de textura, tanto para los Golems de madera, como para los de lana,
