Familiar Fauna es un mod que tiene por objetivo mejorar la exploración del mundo, añadiendo nuevos animales. En estos momentos, como se trata de un mod de reciente creación, sólo se añaden tres animales, que son, los ciervos, las mariposas y los caracoles.
Las mariposas podremos encontrarlas en biomas exuberantes y cálidos, y podremos capturarlas con una red. Los caracoles podremos encontrarlos en los biomas de pantano. Mientras que los ciervos aparecerán en biomas de bosques templados y en biomas fríos, de ellos podremos obtener carne.
Este mod es compatible con la generación de biomas del mod Biomes O' Plenty, de modo que los nuevos animales también se generarán en los nuevos biomas que ofrece este mod.
