Flat Bedrock se encarga de modificar la forma en que se genera la capa de Bedrock en Minecraft. Hasta ahora la Bedrock se generaba de forma irregular, creando surcos y salientes, entre los cuales se podía quedar algún diamante atrapado y nos hacía estar saltando constantemente para caminar por esta zona del mundo. Pero eso se acabó con este mod.
El mod se encarga de convertir la rugosa capa de Bedrock en una capa lisa y uniforme por la que dará gusto caminar y buscar diamantes (aunque esta no sea la mejor altura para encontrar diamantes). Lo mismo ocurrirá con la capa de Bedrock de la dimensión del Nether.
