Flat Colored Blocks se encarga de ofrecer la posibilidad de generar un montón de nuevos colores para bloques decorativos básicos, es decir, bloques de colores. Actualmente en el juego tenemos 16 tintes que podemos utilizar para colorear bloques de arcilla, pero ya está, esa es toda la variedad de colores que nos ofrece el juego, mientras que este mod añade un montón de variantes de color para cada uno de estos 16 colores básicos.
Para empezar a hacer bloques de colores nuevos, necesitaremos crear un objeto nuevo, llamado Colored Block Crafter (es el objeto que vemos en la imagen inferior). Si cogemos este objeto y lo colocamos en la mano de nuestro personaje y pulsamos clic derecho del ratón, accederemos a una interfaz. En esta interfaz no aparecerá nada si no colocamos bloques de piedra y al menos un tinte. Ahora ya podremos seleccionar cualquier bloque tintado con las nuevas variantes de tonalidades para los colores básicos del juego.
