Forestry añade al juego un nuevo sistema energético (bioenergía) para hacer funcionar diversas clases de máquinas, con las que podremos crear sistemas automáticos pensados para automatizar diversos procesos de agricultura, e incluso para cultivar árboles, que en este mod tienen un papel importante. De ahí su nombre, silvicultura, en español.
Si utilizamos las máquinas de este mod podremos automatizar el proceso de plantar, hacer crecer y cosechar cultivos. Pero no sólo eso, podremos hacer lo mismo con árboles, abejas y mariposas. Además de esto, el mod añade algunos objetos interesantes, como mochilas inteligentes, que nos permitirán transportar objetos y ampliar la capacidad de nuestro inventario.
Este mod se encuentra en fase de actualización Beta, así que todavía puede contener errores o bugs. Iremos publicando sus respectivas actualizaciones en este mismo artículo.
