Entre todos estos nuevos seres, encontraremos algunos benevolentes, pero la gran mayoría serán hostiles hacia nuestro personaje, 38 para ser más exactos.
Todos estos nuevos mobs son diferentes los unos de los otros, cada uno tiene sus propias habilidades y parámetros. Su punto de aparición también es variado, es decir, ciertos seres aparecerán en un bioma concreto o en una dimensión concreta, es decir, algunos de ellos sólo aparecerán en el The End y en el Nether.
Cada uno de estos nuevos seres, especialmente los hostiles, soltarán objetos especiales que podremos usar para desarrollar una gran variedad de objetos, armas, herramientas y equipo de personaje.
