Hardcore Armor es un mod que nos permitirá fabricar una buena cantidad de nuevos sets de armadura para nuestro personaje de Minecraft. Este mod es en realidad un complemento del mod Hardcore Ore, por lo que podremos fabricar hasta veintitrés nuevos sets de armadura, basados todos ellos en los nuevos recursos minerales y gemas que añade dicho mod.
La gran mayoría de los conjuntos de armaduras que podremos fabricar con este mod están pensados para los inicios de la partida, aunque también encontraremos armaduras realmente poderosas, que nos permitirán hacer frente a enemigos complicados de derrotar.
Con este mod mejoraremos las opciones de progresión a la hora de fabricar armaduras, ya que en algunos casos, como por ejemplo de la armadura de hierro a la armadura de diamante existe una gran diferencia, pues encontrar hierro es relativamente rápido, pero diamantes suficientes para hacer una armadura, no tanto.
