Hwyla nos ofrece las funcionalidades del mod, ahora desactualizado Waila. De hecho se trata de una evolución de ese mismo mod, por lo que con éste podremos disfrutar de sus características funcionalidades, más alguna cosa nueva. Es decir, el mod nos mostrará información sobre cualquier bloque u objeto al que estemos apuntando con la cruceta de la pantalla. Esto nos permitirá ver a que mod pertenece cualquier objeto del juego, algo muy útil cuando tenemos muchos mods instalados y no sabemos a que pertenece cada cosa.

Entre sus novedades encontramos la posibilidad de que en la misma etiqueta que se muestra información sobre un objeto o bloque, se mostrará el contenido del inventario de ese bloque, si es que tiene. Como por ejemplo, el cofre de Ender que vemos en la imagen inferior. Esto nos permite ver su contenido sin tener que abrir el cofre. Y quien dice cofre, dice horno, objeto, máquina, etc.
