Immersive Craft tiene por objetivo mejorar la inmersión a la hora de interactuar con todos aquellos bloques u objetos que de forma predefinida tienen una interfaz gráfica con inventario. Estos bloques u objetos ahora tendrán un aspecto diferente, funcionarán de manera diferente y nos permitirán ver su contenido sin abrir ninguna interfaz gráfica.
Por ejemplo el cofre y el horno que podemos en la imagen inferior no tienen interfaz y deberemos actuar con ellas viendo el contenido de su interior. Mientras que un cofre o una mesa de crafteo funcionarán como siempre, para encender un horno necesitaremos un mechero.
Además de estas modificaciones de uso, el mod añade piedras y palos a la generación de mundo, así como una sierra, un cincel y un armario de pared para almacenar objetos.
