Immersive Railroading es un mod que añade un nuevo sistema de transporte al juego, los trenes de vapor, respetando al máximo posible dos cosas principales, las físicas y el tamaño de los trenes, con respecto al tamaño del personaje. Los jugadores podremos crear trenes de vapor y vías de ferrocarril.
Los trenes que podremos crear están formados por la locomotora y diversos tipos de vagones, tanto de transporte de mercancías, como de transporte de animales y de transporte de pasajeros. Éstos vagones podrán ser ensamblados o desensamblados según queramos o necesitemos.
