Industrial Craft 2 es un mod técnico que nos permitirá industrializar varios procesos de Minecraft, pero sobretodo todo aquellos relacionado con la minería, la extracción de recursos minerales y el tratamiento de los mismos. A través de máquinas, energía, baterías y cableado, podremos crear sistemas automatizados capaces de aumentar nuestra producción y así poder desarrollar nuevos objetos, con nuevas funcionalidades.
El mod, en comparación con antiguas versiones, ha sido reescrito, modificando ligeramente ciertos conceptos y parámetros, para hacer que este gran mod tenga un funcionamiento más sencillo y ágil para los jugadores, que en anteriores versiones.
