ItemZoom es un mod pensado para aquellos que disfrutan principalmente de la construcción en Minecraft. Se trata de un mod muy sencillo, pero no por ello menos interesante. Su función es mostrar una reproducción a gran tamaño de cualquier bloque que de nuestro inventario, siempre que tengamos el cursor encima de ese bloque en cuestión.
Con este mod instalado, si accedemos a nuestro inventario y colocamos el puntero del ratón, por ejemplo, sobre un bloque de cuarzo, mostrará ese bloque de cuarzo a la izquierda de la pantalla en un tamaño mayor, para que podamos ver si el diseño de ese bloque es el que necesitamos o deseamos para nuestra construcción.
El mod también realizará esta función con todos aquellos bloques decorativos que sean añadidos por otros mods, y de hecho, esta es su principal función, ya que todo jugador sabe o conoce el seiño o aspecto de los bloques predefinidos del juego. Podemos activar o desactivar esta funcionalidad pulsando "Shift + la tecla Z".
