JurassiCraft nos ofrece un mundo donde podremos recoger fósiles de dinosaurio y ámbar, de los que, mediante máquinas y tecnología, extraeremos el ADN. La información genética que extraigamos de estas antiguas criaturas podremos introducirla en los huevos de dinosaurio, para acabar creando estas enormes y prehistóricas criaturas.
Se trata de un mod basado en la película de Jurassic Park, así que podremos crear cosas como el mítico Jeep de Parque Jurásico, crear objetos de laboratorio, cultivar plantas prehistóricas, y encontrar nuevos materiales y objetos que nos permitirán recrear elementos de la película Jurassic Park en Minecraft, entre otras posibilidades.
A día de hoy este mod nos permite crear un total de siete dinosaurios, que son: Triceratops, Brachiosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Gallimimus, Dilophosaurus, Velociraptor y Tyrannosaurus.
