LavaBoat es un sencillo mod que nos permite crear un bote de obsidiana con el que podremos navegar sobre ríos de lava sin preocuparnos en absoluto por la salud de nuestro personaje. Esto nos permite ahorrar mucho tiempo sobretodo en el Nether, donde podremos desplazarnos tranquilamente sin tener que hacer puentes ni inventos raros.
Su construcción es tan sencilla como el propio mod. Para crear nuestro bote de obsidiana, usaremos el mismo crafteo que para un bote de madera, substituyendo la madera por obsidiana y colocando una vagoneta en el centro.
