Moar Boats es un mod que se inspira en las funcionalidades de las vagonetas de Minecraft para ofrece más versatilidad a los barcos o botes de Minecraft. Con este mod instalado podremos fabricar nuevos tipos de botes que nos ofrecerán nuevas funcionalidades, algunas de ellas realmente interesantes.
En primer lugar, podremos mejorar cada bote o barco añadiendo módulos con funcionalidades. Por ejemplo, podremos utilizar la energía producida por un horno para mover el bote de forma autónoma. También podemos añadir un modulo de almacenamiento que nos permitirá utilizar el bote como si fuera un cofre. Por último, el módulo de itinerario nos permitirá definir la ruta que queremos que siga nuestro barco o convoy de forma autónoma.
Además, si necesitamos más espacio de almacenamiento del que nos ofrece un sólo bote o barco, podremos unir dos botes o barcos mediante una cuerda, creando un convoy de botes o barcos. De este modo, cada vez que unamos dos botes con una cuerda estaremos duplicando la capacidad de transporte.
