More Foods nos ofrece nuevas recetas para realizar algunos de los alimentos típicos de Minecraft, así como utilizar utensilios de cocina y utilizar una buena cantidad de nuevos cultivos para realizar nuevas recetas y nuevos platos de comida.
Estas nuevas recetas son algo más lógicas que las predefinidas, que en muchos casos ni si quiera tienen lógica. Por ejemplo, ahora para hacer pan no sólo necesitaremos trigo, sino que para hacer pan necesitaremos mezclar agua, harina y sal en un bol.
Como decíamos al inicio, podremos realizar nuevas recetas, concretamente más de 100 nuevos platos o alimentos, gracias a los más de 32 nuevos cultivos que podremos extraer de nuestros huertos. Estos nuevos alimentos podremos tratarlos y trabajarlos con utensilios de cocina, como por ejemplo una máquina para picar carne, boles, cuchillos, exprimidores o morteros, entre otros objetos.
