NuclearCraft es un mod que pretende llevar los conceptos de física cuántica y de partículas relativistas a Minecraft. El mod añade un total de 9 minerales a la generación de mundos, entre ellos, cobre, estaño, plata, cobre, uranio, plomo, torio, plutonio, boro y litio. Estos minerales posteriormente podrán ser tratados y fusionados con maquinaria especializada para desarrollar nuevos objetos como armas y armaduras, entre otras cosas.
El mod añade generadores de reacción, hornos especiales, trituradores de minerales, separadores de isótopos y reactores de fisión, además de otras máquinas eléctricas. El mod es compatible con algunos mods tecnológicos como Industrial Craft y Mekanism.
