Plants vs Zombies te permitirá cultivar las famosas plantas en un nuevo bloque de tierra que añade el mod. Una vez hayan crecido las podremos recolectar y plantar donde nosotros queramos. En esta segunda plantación, las plantas ya tendrán la funcionalidad de defendernos de los zombies.
En esta última versión se han añadido las setas defensivas, además de nuevos bloques para cultivar y mejorar nuestras plantas, consiguiendo que evolucionen sus habilidades y que cumplan más eficientemente su función de defender nuestras casas o cualquier otra cosa. También es novedad en esta actualización las dos nuevas clases de zombies que existen.
