Cada una de estas bombas extractoras tiene un radio de acción de 64 bloques a la redonda, y empezará a succionar por los bloques más próximos. La bomba funciona sin una señal de Redstone, de modo que si recibe una señal de Redstone la bomba parará de funcionar. Cada bomba puede almacenar un máximo de 32 cubos en su interior, si la bomba se llena dejará de funcionar.
