Realistic Terrain Generation nos ofrece una nueva generación de terreno, mucho más lógica y realista que la generación de mundos de Minecraft. El mod es capaz de generar los mismos parámetros realistas de generación de terreno, incluso, cuando otros mods añadan nuevos biomas al juego.
Este mod se encarga de agrupar los biomas generados según ciertas condiciones, teniendo en cuenta la temperatura o humedad de los biomas, para evitar un desierto al lado de una planicie helada. También añade cierta cantidad de vegetación en los laterales de los ríos y por supuesto se encarga de generar montañas de altura más progresiva, evitando formas imposibles y generaciones de terreno poco lógicas.
Para que este mod entre en acción deberemos crear un mundo nuevo y hacer clic en "Más opciones de mundo". Acto seguido en "Tipo de mundo" seleccionaremos la opción "Realistic" y crearemos el mundo, para poder disfrutar de un aspecto más realista, tanto para el terreno, como para la generación y distribución de los biomas.
