Roguelike Dungeons se encarga de generar bastas mazmorras llenas de salas, galerías y pasillos conectado entre sí en el subsuelo del mundo. Estas mazmorras están llenas de enemigos y tesoros. A medida que descendemos a niveles más profundos, los enemigos serán más duros, pero también la recompensa de los tesoros será más interesante.
En estas mazmorras subterráneas se generan gran cantidad de enemigos, así que de vez en cuando encontraremos salas de descanso, donde podremos reponer fuerzas, ordenar el inventario e incluso utilizar objetos, como hornos y mesas de crafteo para tratar aquellos objetos que vamos consiguiendo en las batallas.
Para poder disfrutar de esta generación de mazmorras deberemos crear un nuevo tipo de mundo, en el menú de selección de mundos de Minecraft, escogiendo el tipo de mundo "Dungeons".
