Roost es un mod que nos permitirá crear granjas de gallinas realmente eficientes, pues podremos fabricar gallineros para que las gallinas crezcan, se alimenten, se reproduzcan y nos obsequien con sus habituales objetos, ya sean plumas, huevos, u otros objetos que otros mods añadan a los gallinas o pollos.
El funcionamiento es el siguiente. El mod añade diversos bloques, con diversas funcionalidades. Por ejemplo el gallinero es un bloque donde pueden almacenarse hasta dieciséis gallinas, el criadero es un bloque donde pueden reproducirse los pollos con intimidad. Por último, tenemos un bloque llamado "Colector Roost" que almacenará automáticamente las plumas, huevos u otros objetos que produzcan nuestras gallinas o pollos.
