Rough Mobs es un mod que se centra en aumentar el poder de las criaturas hostiles de Minecraft, ya sea aumentando sus parámetros de salud, de ataque, defensa o aumentando la probabilidad de que estas criaturas vayan equipadas con armas y armaduras de mayor nivel, e incluso encantadas.
Algunos ejemplos de estos cambios serían: Creepers mucho más veloces y que se vuelven invisibles al estar cerca del jugador, Endermans que pueden aplicar efectos de ceguera o nausea al jugador,entre otros muchos. Las entidades que son modificadas por el mod son: Creppers, zombies, Slimes, esqueletos, el Wither, Endermans, Zombie Pigmen, Silverfish, Blazes, Magma Cubes y los Ghasts.
