Scenter nos ofrece un detector de recursos minerales, capaz de indicarnos el punto exacto donde se encuentra cierto recurso mineral. La forma en que este mod nos indica la posición de un recurso mineral, es mediante un haz de partículas de cierto color. Por ejemplo, si cerca nuestro hay una veta de redstone aparecerá un haz de partículas rojo que nos indica donde está ese recurso, si es esmeralda, el haz es verde. Es decir, el haz tiene el mismo color que el mineral en cuestión. Aunque si lo deseamos podemos cambiar el color de cada haz de partículas.

Al instalar el mod, deberemos activar su funcionalidad, para ello pulsaremos la tecla "O". Mientras que si queremos acceder al menú de personalización del mod, que permite seleccionar que recursos minerales queremos que nos indique y cuales no, o cambiar el color del haz de partículas, deberemos pulsar dos veces seguidas la tecla "O".
