Slime Carnage se encarga de generar un montón de nuevos Slime en el mundo, además de permitirnos crear nuevos objetos, nuevas armas, nuevas armaduras, nuevos elementos comestibles y nuevas estructuras. Incluso si lo deseamos podremos crear nuestro propio poblado consiguiendo "scrolls" en las mazmorras de Minecraft, que nos permitirán crear construcciones predefinidas.
El mod añade un total de 18 Slime hostiles, que irán a por nosotros en cuanto detecten nuestra presencia. Pero no todo son Slimes, en este mod también se generarán nuevos NPC's y estructuras de forma aleatoria alrededor del mundo, como ruinas, cuevas, alcantarillas, laboratorios secretos, tumbas y tabernas.
