Smash Bats es un mod que nos permite crear un total de 8 bates de béisbol en Minecraft. Aunque esto quizá no sea lo más sorprendente para aquel que instale este mod por primera vez. El mod añade bates, pero no pelotas. Ya que, un día su creador se despertó y pensó: ¿quién quiere pelotas de béisbol en Minecraft si existen mobs?
Entre algunos de los bates que podremos crear y usar, encontramos el Launching Bat, un bate que hará volar a cualquier mob y luego explotará, el Lighting Bat, un bate que lanza por los aires y posteriormente emite un rayo sobre el enemigo, el Blast Bat, que al impactar contra el enemigo causa una explosión y lanza al ser por los aires, y el Riding Bat que hace volar al enemigo y a nosotros con él.
