Soul Shards nos ofrece la posibilidad de generar las criaturas que nosotros queramos de forma artificial, donde nosotros queramos, a la velocidad que queramos y haciendo que se generen las criaturas que nosotros queramos. Esto permite hacer granjas de mobs o animales muy eficientes, ya que se puede configurar que genere criaturas de forma realmente rápida.
A través de la estructura que vemos en la imagen inferior conseguiremos gemas de alma vacías, que podremos llenar eliminando el mob o animal que nosotros queramos, para guardar almas en las gemas. Para conseguir una gema vacía colocaremos un diamante en nuestra mano y pulsaremos botón derecho del ratón sobre el bloque de glowstone.
Una vez hemos llenado una gema de almas, iremos a la mesa de crafteo para fabricar una jaula para el generador de criaturas. Una vez creada la jaula, la colocaremos en el suelo y con la gema de almas llena en nuestra mano, pulsaremos botón derecho del ratón sobre la jaula, para que se empiecen a generar las criaturas de forma autónoma.
