Soul Shards es un mod que nos permite crear generadores de mobs en el modo supervivencia de Minecraft. De esto modo, no tendremos que crear "complejos" sistemas de generación de criaturas, bastará con crear un generador, elegir el mob a spawnear y crear la trampa para él. Con estos generadores podremos definir la velocidad y la tasa de aparición de criaturas, así que podremos crear granjas de enemigos realmente eficientes de forma rápida y sencilla.
Para empezar a crear este sistema tendremos que crear la estructura que vemos en la imagen inferior. Para conseguir una gema de alma vacía debemos colocar un diamante en la mano del personaje y pulsar botón derecho del ratón en el centro de la estructura, es decir, en el bloque de glowstone.
Esto nos permitirá conseguir gemas de alma vacías, que podremos llenar con las almas de los enemigos que eliminemos. Cuando hayamos llenado una gema, crearemos una jaula en la mesa de crafteo y la pondremos donde queramos. Acto seguido, con la gema de almas llena en la mano, pulsaremos botón derecho del ratón sobre la jaula. Y ya está, se empezarán a generar criaturas automáticamente.
